WHY SHOULD I USE TREND EVENT RENTALS?

We carry eclectic furnishings that help create your event esthetic, vision and vibe with a nod to the new. We love to add bars, sofas, pillows, chairs, tables, and decor furnishings that can pair perfectly with our other items. Unlike your typical rental companies, we have decor furnishings that have a boutique flair.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY RENTALS?

As soon as possible. Bookings are subject to product availability. Once you are firm on your date, reserve your rental items. This will secure the products that you have chosen for your special event.

WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE TO RESERVE MY RENTALS AND BOOK AN ORDER?

You can add items to your wishlist and send it over, fill out a contact form and list your items in the notes section, email a list of items to us at hello@trendeventrentals.com or make an appointment to come see us and we can put together your quote.

Our rental pieces are individually priced. If you inquire about specific pieces, we will put together a quote and invoice with pricing for you. All orders include fees associated with the labor and/or mileage required for the delivery of the order. For more information regarding our fees, please see our Fees Page.

To confirm a quote, we require your contact information (address, phone and email), valid credit card information, a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit. The deposit is equal to 50% of your order total and is applied towards your final balance. This payment can be made by cash, check, Zelle or credit card.

WHEN DO I NEED TO HAVE MY FINAL NUMBERS BY?

7 business days prior to your event. Any reductions or cancellations are non-refundable. However, we can make minor adjustments up to 7 business days prior to the event, and any additions are welcome up to 7 business days prior to the event subject to availability. Trend Event Rentals must be provided with a final count of items 7 business days prior to event.

CAN I CHANGE OR ADD ITEMS TO MY ORDER?

Absolutely! We understand that there are many moving parts to any event. All final changes are due 7 business days prior to your event at the same time your final balance is due. You can add or edit items on your order, as long as the items are available. Items must also be a value equal to or greater than your rental deposit.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellation of all items will result in forfeit of your 50% deposit.  Eliminations of items from you order are non-refundable.  However, we can make minor adjustments up to 7 business days prior to the event, and any additions are welcome up to 7 business days prior to the event subject to availability. DO YOU SET UP AND TAKE DOWN MY RENTALS?

Yes, we will install and retrieve all rentals. Unless you choose to pick up your item(s).

What areas do you deliver to?

Our delivery area includes the North Shore of Chicago (from Lake Bluff, IL to Wilmette, IL) and the Northwest suburbs of Chicago (west to Barrington, IL).

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE BOOK AN OUTDOOR EVENT AND IT RAINS?

No one likes rain on event days, but we do live in Illinois where the weather changes frequently! All items that are booked will remain booked and we will try our best to accommodate your rain plan. For all orders that have an event outdoors, we do require you to have a rain plan. We will work closely with you/your planner on the day of to confirm placement of items within your rain plan.

WHEN IS MY FINAL PAYMENT DUE?

Final payment is due in full 7 business days prior to your event.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY RENTALS?

We accept cash, check, debit, Zelle and all major credit cards.

WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ITEM IS DAMAGED?

Sometimes items get a little too much love, so a mandatory non-refundable 10% damage waiver is added to every delivery order, and a 15% damage waiver for will-call/pick-up orders. This covers normal wear & tear, but does not cover gross negligence – such as damage caused by drinks/wax spills, or pieces not protected from inclement weather. A valid credit card will be required to be on file. Any damage to items from our collection must be reported ASAP. Items that require repair/ replacement will be charged to the card on file.
